As
a convenience, General Practitioners, Podiatrists, Dentists
and Optometrists visit regularly to assist with the medical
needs of our residents. Residents may select one of these
providers or continue utilizing their attending physician.
|
In addition
to our resident care team, home health options are available
per physician request. Registered Nurses assist with clinical
needs, Home Health Aids assist with bathing, dressing and
personal care needs, and companions assist with sitting,
visiting, writing letters and providing companionship. As
residents face end of life issues, Hospice is available
for resident and family support. Hospice staff assist with
clinical needs as well as social services and planning.

Geriatric Care Managers partner with our staff in providing
liaison services to families, monitoring of services, financial
management, guardianship services and more. |
When nutritional or incontinence care products are requested
by a resident, resident party or resident physician, our staff
will be happy to place all orders and monitor accordingly.

Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy
are all services that can be provided per physician request.
The aim of these therapies is to increase the resident's functional
level to the highest capacity, following an injury, stroke,
fall or hospital stay. |

Our Activity Program incorporates exercise into the
daily routine. Through sittercise, aerobics, fitness
walks, dance and tae-chi, our residents may reach
higher functioning levels and maintain healthy lifestyles.
Individuals should consult their physicians before
starting an exercise program. |

To
assist our residents in looking their very best, we
offer a full range of beauty and barber services. Women
may choose from manicures, permanents, hair coloring
and hair cuts. And for the men, haircuts, trims and
facial hair styling are available through our barber. |

There may also be additional cost associated with the
above services and programs. Refer to your residency
agreement for included services. Please note that the
facility has made these services available as a convenience
to the resident. Choosing any healthcare provider shall
be at the resident’s discretion. |
